Bilingual Educational System

Objective:

That our students master the English language from an early age, promoting the development of different skills and providing them with tools that allow them to continuously improve the language and so, achieve a certification at the corresponding level with the University of Cambridge.

What do we achieve with a Bilingual Educational System?

Our students are immersed in the classroom where the teacher teaches the entire class in English supported by the methodology of the UNOi Educational System, with this, they develop different communication and expression skills thanks to the vocabulary and knowledge they acquire. In this way the students:
• Develop their critical thinking.
• Enrich their language.
• Increase their academic performance.
• Express themselves with great ease and security in both languages.
• Are able to express themselves in front of the public.
Research from the University of Massachusetts revealed that students studying in bilingual schools get better notes compared to those who start learning the English language late.

What do our students acquire by developing these skills?

Fluency:

It is a skill that allows you to see how comfortable and confident the student feels when speaking English. It allows you to have a clearer connection that you want to express.

Vocabulary:

The more words you learn the better and stronger your oral, written, listening, and reading skills will become. Our System undoubtedly helps our students to consolidate these skills; this is because we have platforms such as:
• Myon (Platform with more than 5000 titles in English).
• UNOi Platform.
• Cambridge English Assessment (Platform with additional resources for practice).

Grammar:

We work hard to make students understand the different grammatical tenses knowing that the fewer mistakes they make, the better their ability to speak is.
We make sure that this skill is developed in the best way, as mastering this discipline is essential in the presentation of certifications.

Pronunciation:

Our students learn this skill by being 100% immersed in the language during the 16 hours of class per week and in the daily interaction between their classmates and teachers. In addition, they practice it by listening to the audios on our platform that contains different types of pronunciation.
To enhance these skills we carry out the following activities in our school:
• Project presentation in front of a group.
• Fair Projects with the participation of Parents.
• Spelling Bee.
• Festivals.
• International exchanges.
• Summer courses abroad.
• Cambridge certification with curriculum value in Sixth and Ninth Grades.
• Special preparation courses for these certifications.
The Cambridge certifications are international valid lifetime certifications that will undoubtedly give our students, in addition to validating the proficiency of a second language, improvements in their job opportunities, studying and even working outside the country.
